first off, we had a party of 9 and they accommodated every single one of us. we were coming from a long day of school so we decided to grab some grub in the area. we ordered spicy chicken with bamboo and coconut cream, sweet and sour shrimp, crab fried rice, pad thai with tofu, pad see ew with tofu, veggie egg rolls, steamed rice, and a few beers and thai tea. food came out super fast and it was delicious. the portions were perfect for us and we devoured them. second, the prices were pretty low and we ended up paying about $125 for all 9 of us. also, it is a smaller restaurant so i was surprised that they could fit 9 people in the middle. honestly, it's not the nicest interior but the food was great and the service was great as well. definitely coming back here with a bigger party.

Picked up bestie for an overdue lunch date. The original plan was to go to the more popular spot (literally) one block north of here. We did get there, but I drove a little fast and missed the turn to the parking lot, so I was forced to go around. And I'm so glad we did. Because otherwise, we wouldn't have ended up here! I used to live two blocks away and since moving away (we're talking about 2 decades ago) I'll admit they fell off my radar. But I used to come here at least one a month for one reason - their wonton soup (because it's made from Yummy town!) It all came back when I got my bearings, so I immediately pulled in. Plenty of parking spaces open and plenty of tables open (inside and out.) They are mindful about the pandemic, properly distancing each table, masks and gloves worn. Bestie and I went for 4 things: Wonton soup was a must, deep fried shrimp, crab fried rice and Chinese broccoli sautéed with crispy pork. WONTON SOUP: Just like how I remember it. They are incredibly consistent with this. Bestie was also impressed. The wonton was savory and packed with so much flavor. The pork as well as the fresh veggies were great sidekicks and the broth had depth. Bestie and I loved and ate so much of it that we barely left anything in the hot pot, fire still a-blazing! DEEP FRIED SHRIMP: Comes in 4 pieces. Butterflied, battered and deep fried. I'm not sure if it was overdone or over battered, but the outer layer was a little tough. However, once properly cut in smaller pieces, it was delicious. Low fire and lighter batter might make this better. CHINESE BROCCOLI SAUTEED WITH CRISPY PORK: Although I tend to like my food a little more on the salty side, this was salty. (But the Thai iced tea might have enhanced that, too.) Pork was done crispy and the veggies were done fresh. Still delicious. CRAB FRIED RICE: This was FIRE! This just made it to my Top 5 friend dishes of all time. It wasn't greasy, there was plenty of crab, NO PEAS OR CARROTS (that's very important to me, I am not a fan of those fillers) and the seasoning was PERFECT! Highly recommending this! FOOD: 4.5. Shrimp and crispy pork dish need a little tweaking, but otherwise, great. SERVICE: 4. Food was served ten minutes after we were seated. They are incredibly efficient. Servers were available when needed. I don't think they mean to be "snotty" they were just busy. VALUE: 5. PARKING: Private lot. Shared with a couple of other spots. They get busy, so plan accordingly. OVERALL: 4.5. Bestie and I were lucky for coming through when we did because there was a wait not too long after. All tables were taken by the time we were done. (That spot I mentioned earlier isn't the only one popular around this 'hood!) I've seen some of their newer spots within a 5-mile radius so I'm guessing they've expanded. I wouldn't mind trying them out (in hopes they're just as good as it is here.) They're on my radar now. I will return if only to have that crab fried rice again!
